She would like to do a role similar to the one that Angelina Jolie did in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. She says that it would be awesome if a script like that ever came her way; at the same time she feels that Bollywood lacks the 'action queens'.

In the wake of the steamy love making scenes shot between Bips and Rana, the industry is abuzz with the new scorching pairing.
Tabloids cannot top writing and the gossip mongers cannot stop talking about the latest sizzling pair.
The unusual pairing has surprised all with their blatant physicality, which is witnessed on-screen
Though all the limelight is hogged by Bips and Rana, the movie 'Dum Maro Dum' also has some industry big shots like Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Pancholi and Prateik Babbar, as the main leads.
The movie is produced by Fox Star Studios.
The sources claim that the scene with Rana and Bipasha is not only bold but is extremely passionate and intimate.
Reports claim that Rana was chosen for the role as he oozes out raw sexual magnetism and has a 'stud' like quality in his personality.
Further, the film makers were very conscious of the fact that since Bipasha is the sex bombshell of the film industry, thus she could only be paired opposite someone who could equate the degree of sexuality on-screen.
katrina hot dreams real life unseen
I'll dream with my eyes open. This correspondent talks to the hen that has yet another golden egg to her credit - Raajneeti. And didn't the stock markets just teach you something last week? Forget stocks...start investing in Katrina. That's a bullish rise.
Wouldn't it be better if you were called the hen that lays golden eggs?
(Laughs) That's a funny observation. Thank you. I think we all are really happy to see the fate of Raajneeti. None of us believed the results would've been like what we are seeing today. I never thought of Raajneeti breaking records.
Is Raajneeti your toughest act ever?
I've found a lot of my work challenging or equally challenging as Raajneeti. I found New York to be a great challenge. Even Ajab was challenging in a way. But because the content of Prakash Jha films is always serious, the role becomes tougher, realistic and serious. But the work and the effort you put into the film is equal. Yes, I'll have to agree that in Raajneeti, a lot of extra effort went into portraying my role. I had to get a particular manner of lingo for the film and I delivered it.
Not even Kate Winslet has a consistency what Katrina Kaif has...
(Laughs out loud) Wow! I'm trying to digest this one now. It's kind of weird in a way when you say whether I choose my scripts or the script chooses me. My mother always says that God has been kind to me. Out of the films I wanted to do, many of them haven't worked at the box office and the films that I landed up doing have somehow managed to do the trick. I have never panicked because I believe that what falls into place is going to be right for me. Sometimes I can be wrong and sometimes right, but I'm destined to do well at the box office.
Did you underplay yourself in Raajneeti?
No. I can say 'yes' and sound intelligent in front of you but the fact is that I haven't underplayed myself. From day one, I related to the script. I never thought I'd get to play the role with so many emotions and believe me, I would react to those in the similar way as to what I had reacted in the film. I just played myself more than I underplayed my role.
It's wonderful to see the collections in the U.K too...
I think that is a really positive sign for everyone. Not just me, not just the cast and crew but the entire film industry. The myths and the stereo-types which I and you were discussing in Prakash's office pre-release have proved us wrong somewhere. What works is a good story. It's as simple as that.
You'll be sharing your success with the Dostana 2 gang in London.
Oh yes. It's been a long, long time that I've shot a film in my home town. I'm shooting Dostana 2 in London after Namastey London. I'm looking forward to work with Abhishek and John because I've worked with both these actors before. It's going to be a lot of fun.
What about Aarakshan?
We've discussed a few things but nothing has been locked as of now. I'm not sure which film does Prakash want me for. We've discussed quite a few films. So we'll have to wait and watch. Right now I've still got to finish Zoya's film which I'm shooting now in Spain. Then I've got Farah Khan's film with Akshay Kumar and then comes Dostana 2 and then Prakash's next.
Prachi Desai Once Upon A Time In Mumbai
Prachi Desai will do a Bobby (a la Dimple Kapadia) for her next, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai.
Says a source, "In the film, Emraan Hashmi plays a gangster based in Dubai, who's obsessed with Dimple Kapadia.
There's a song where Emraan and his girlfriend (played by Prachi Desai) watch Bobby and then Emraan gifts her Dimple's outfit.
“It's a passionate sequence which has Emraan and Prachi getting drawn to each other. Initially, the demure Prachi was reluctant to wear the bold outfit but the director Milan Luthria managed to convince her."
Prachi, says, "Emraan's called Shoaib in the film. I play his conservative Muslim girlfriend Mumtaaz. Bobby was a big hit at the time the movie was set in. Shoaib is inspired by multiple real life personalities and one of them had a fascination with Dimple's Bobby persona. Hence Emraan is seen gifting me outfits due to his fascination with Bobby."
Prachi says she was initially hesitant, "Dimple looked so gorgeous that I didn't want to be compared to her but Milan convinced me. In fact, Milan gave us a month to work on our bodies for the song. While he wanted Emraan to flaunt his six-pack in the song, he wanted me to tone down my body."
She adds, "The scenes were shot over few months. Emraan is one of my fav co-stars and I am most comfortable with him. I was clear we wouldn't kiss, though."
Bollywood Hot Sizzling Actress Katrina Kaif
Katrina Kaif News: Bollywood Hot Sizzling Actress Katrina Kaif plans to become an entrepreneur soon. She is nurturing the idea of opening a firm that looks at film marketing.
Katrina says, “I definitely want to start the film marketing division at the earliest. I’m basically seeking the guidance of my friends and colleagues about this and how to go about it.
Film marketing has always intrigued me as it’s both exciting and challenging to see how a strategy to sell the product in the market and even to the audiences is made,” Katrina says.
The actor adds, “Film marketing right now is the most important factor to see how a film travels in this clutter of content.
First, rarely does only one film release in a week; so there is internal competition. Plus, competition from Hollywood is also a factor in the urban cities.
A well-marketed product will always have an upper hand in this cut-throat competition where the first weekend makes all the difference and a film is labeled a hit or a flop.”
Katrina has always been intrigued by numbers. “My decision to open a film marketing house comes from my love for numbers. I have always had numbers on my fingertips. Most people in the industry know that I remember most of the collection data by heart. So, I exactly know when a film that has not done well is claiming to be a hit. I want to bring a highly professional attitude at looking at marketing on the table and of course I will have veterans and really crafty people with strategies looking after my firm,” she says.
Reliable sources close to the actor add that she is currently mulling over where to buy a property to start her venture.
“It could be anywhere between Bandra and Andheri given this is the stretch that Katrina also frequents while going for a shoot to the studios. She has expressed to her really close friends and colleagues that it is Bandra or Khar that she is targeting. The actor will begin her search for an office space soon,” ends the source.

aishwarya rai top 10 dance reviews
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's beauty was celebrated worldwide when she took the title of Miss World in 1994. Since that point, it seems, her entry into Bollywood was somewhat inevitable. Although throughout her career, the model-turned-actress has received much criticism to match the love and praise, her graceful dancing has always won the audience's hearts. As a trained classical dancer, Aishwarya has wowed her fans and critics alike with her lavish costumes which play an equal (if not more important) part in her dances. Today, we showcase the dance performances of the actress which will always be ones to remember...
'Thoda Sa Pagla' - Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya
'Nimbooda' - Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam
Adorning sky blue, Aishwarya's dance to 'Nimbooda' in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam gave her yet another chance to expose her talent as a dancer. The tune and lyrics, inspired by an old folk song, added to the rooted and very traditional feel of the film. Aishwarya's costumes throughout the movie showcased traditional-wear in a contemporary way and proved a huge success in representing the values and customs of her character's Gujarati family. The song also features Ajay Devgn, who becomes totally besotted by Aishwarya watching her dance. Taking advantage of the emotions and light-heartedness in the entirety of the song, Aishwarya depicts the typical daughter and the apologetic mehbooba with equal ease.
The movie co-stars Aishwarya's ex-beau Salman Khan and the song 'Dhol Baaje' is picturised on the jodi. Aishwarya and Salman are both great dancers and play garba in the song.
'Kahin Aag Lage' - Taal
Not long after the release of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, came the ever-popular Taal. The music of the film was an instant hit with A R Rahman's magic and beats to get everyone on the dance floors. 'Kahin Aag Lage' starts with Aishwarya's emotion coming through her eyes while everything around her is bringing the story forward. With the accompanying orchestra and Anil Kapoor's bird chants, the song features Aishwarya in some truly extravagant costumes. If you're lucky, you might spot a very young Shahid Kapoor in one scene!
Aishwarya truly excels when the song is shown to be performed in a live concert. Dressed in a whiteish silver body suit, Aishwarya truly stands out in her posture and her grace. She shows much emotion with every move in keeping with the sentiments in the lyrics, even though the song is pretty upbeat.
'Dole Re' - Devdas
When one first thinks of this song, it's impossible to forget the very fabulous Madhuri Dixit-Nene who dances alongside Mrs Rai Bachchan. The two divas perform to 'Dola Re' in what is an absolute treat for the audiences. Both the epitome of the traditional Indian woman, their performances could've, very easily, overshadowed each other. However, to everyone's surprise, the duo compliment each other on-screen.Aishwarya towers over Madhuri in the song but their expressions, their elegance and their co-ordinated outfits take the song to a completely new level.
Devdas also features the very sombre 'Silsila Yeh Chaahat Ka' in which Aishwarya is seen to be the love-sick girlfriend awaiting the arrival of her beau played by Shah Rukh Khan. This song has a larger-than-life feel to it, moreso because of the traditional attire adorned by the beauty and also the flame that supposedly never fizzles out!
'Ishq Kamina' - Shakti: The Power
Aishwarya hasn't done many special appearances in her career, however, this particular appearance in Shakti left the audiences shocked to say the least. The song 'Ishq Kamina' which stars Shah Rukh Khan, is a fast number. It brought about a completely new and fresh look for Aishwarya which further won the hearts of the masses. The song is a traditionally shot song with the former Miss World in traditional clothing with a twist. The song is very upbeat and this contributed to the song being not only a huge hit in audio but also in visuals.
Aishwarya's flirty dance moves and somewhat unusual pairing with King Khan brought about a whole new aura about her, even though just as a special appearance.
'Balle Balle' - Bride and Prejudice
In Gurinder Chadha's crossover film Bride and Prejudice, inspired by the Jane Austen novel Pride and Prejudice, Aishwarya was asked to put on some weight. Why? Well, in order to portray a true Punjabi girl, Chadha felt Aishwarya was a little on the slim side. Aside from this, her pairing was with the handsome Martin Henderson. The film was to appeal to the western audiences as well as the eastern, and as a result, it was more than necessary for Aishwarya to fulfill this in her character. The song 'Balle Balle' could arguably be seen as similar to the big dance numbers usually featured in Karan Johar films. The set, adorned with various coloured material, the involvement of almost the whole cast of the film and not to forget the typical Bhangra beat of the song all added to the popularity and razzmatazz of the picturisation.
Aishwarya, once again in traditional attire, was required to stand out. In the film, she plays one of 4 sisters and as the protagonist, Aishwarya was the focus of the song. In fact, it was a pose and costume of this very song that Aishwarya's statue in Madame Tussauds.
'Kajraa Re' - Bunty & Babli
This song needs no introduction. Not only does it have a very special appearance, once again, by Aishwarya - who was forever increasing in popularity - but it also features Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan. Worth a watch? Oh most definitely! The buzz around this song was somewhat more than the film itself. At this point, the rumour mills were on overtime with news about a relationship between Rai and Junior Bachchan. However, the picturisation of the song tells a very different story. It sees Aishwarya trying to woo Senior Bachchan and leaving Junior coming across as the loser.
The trio were also seen performing this song at an awards ceremony not so long after the film's release. It's fair to say that individually all three have immense screen presence and to see all three together in one frame was truly special and gave this song a league of its own!
'Salaam' - Umrao Jaan
Although a copy of the original of the same name starring the very elegant Rekha, this film created its own news because it co-starred Abhishek with Aishwarya. Once again, at the time of the release, the two were rumoured to be dating and therefore, the audiences were totally betaab to see them together once again after their previous films together didn't fair too well.'Salaam' sees Aishwarya doing a typical tawaif dance to lure the male visitors. In comes Abhishek and the beauty's dance seems to come alive. There really is no comparison in dance with the original with Rekha because the two have their own style and Aishwarya's eyes say it all in 'Salaam'. Her costume, once again, brings further sophistication to the song and the colour shows the contrast between the old and the new version of the film.
'Crazy Kiya Re' - Dhoom 2
Dhoom 2 was the one and only film that Aishwarya's sexiness was... well... a focal point. An actress who strives in looking traditional and well-rooted, Ash's role as Sunehri gave the audiences a glimpse of her that has never been seen before... and won't be seen again in a hurry. In 'Crazy Kiye Re', Aishwarya takes on a hugely western look. She exposes in a way which she hasn't really ever done before. Her dance moves in the song add to her sexiness and her newly slim-figure is there for the world to see. Paired with the Greek God Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya truly sizzles on screen with the contagious dance moves and tanned look.
'Barso Re' - Guru
Well, this was the film that came just before Miss Rai became Mrs Bachchan-to-be! The film was special to say the least and Aishwarya's 'Barso Re' at the start of the film truly takes the breath away.Dressed once again in Indian attire, the song is set near waterfalls and boats in the rainy season. In the outdoors, Ash wears her hair in a simple bun and moves to every lyric with much innocence and ease. Her simplicity in dress and in her dancing makes this song one of the most mesmerising. Her character's boldness yet grounded factors are revealed in the song.
And there we have it. Aishwarya, the goddess of all things Bollywood. Her dancing is something which always has and always will stand out. And long live Aishwarya's dances... if there are any producers / directors / choreographers reading, please take this as a true BollySpice request... bring on more Aishwarya dances! We cannot get enough!
